About this house rental
The ground floor of the house is open-plan. First you enter a cosily furnished lounge, where you can either gaze at the flames in the fireplace or at the action on the widescreen TV, which keeps you in touch with your home thanks to modern satellite technology. No less cosy is the adjoining dining room with kitchen, which also has a fireplace. Here you have enough space to serve a suitable menu to a large group of travellers. The dominant colour is white, which creates a bright and inviting atmosphere. Small details such as scattered natural stone walls, floral patterns on the walls, pictures and tasteful wooden furniture set skilful accents and quickly make you feel at home. Part of your relaxation takes place while you sleep, when your subconscious recalls the lightness of the day. The sleeping area, with a total of six double bedrooms, is located on the upper level, which you can reach from the living room. Two of the three bathrooms in the house are also located on the upper floor. One of them even has a bathtub, where you can prepare for a cosy night's sleep.
Finally, there is plenty to discover at Villa Ceratonia! Firstly, there is the wine, which plays a very important role in this part of the island. This becomes clear in the idyllic village of Binissalem (2.5 km away), where you can visit the bodegas and enjoy a little wine tasting. Every year, following the grape harvest, a two-week wine festival is held, which attracts many visitors. Some visitors come by train, which connects the regions of the island and runs every 20 minutes throughout the day. You can hear this train from your property. Thanks to your central location, you can discover the special features of the different parts of the coast. You can decide every day whether you want to go to the south coast of the island with the vibrant capital Palma or to the unspoilt beaches of the north. The Tramuntana mountains are also within easy reach and are ideal for long hikes.
The town of Binissalem, famous for its quality wine, is just 2.5 kilometres from Villa Ceratonia. You can visit the market here on Fridays and buy wine and other local delicacies. The island's capital Palma, with its wide range of attractions, is only 30 minutes away by car. However, if you would rather spend the day at the beach, we recommend the beaches of Alcúdia and Pollença on the north coast.
