Place is getting old and not maintained

Beautiful and very peaceful location in a small, picturesque valley, while still being a great base for exploring Mallorca in all directions. The entire property is exceptionally well maintained and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of comfortable loungers and seating areas throughout the grounds. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished to a high standard, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was good quality overall with a decent selection. The staff deserve a special mention. Everyone we encountered was exceptionally friendly, warm, attentive and helpful. Whether at breakfast or through housekeeping, all of our interactions were genuinely pleasant and contributed greatly to the welcoming atmosphere.

A small fridge in the room would be very useful, especially during the Mallorcan summer. We also found there was relatively little storage or surface space for smaller personal items. The bed sheets were slightly too small and regularly slipped off the mattress during the night. At breakfast, we would have appreciated a little more choice of fresh fruit. Options for vegans are fairly limited. The pool was very warm during our stay and therefore offered only limited relief from the heat, although we appreciate that this may be difficult to avoid with a relatively small pool and high outdoor temperatures. There was also a very friendly cat regularly around the pool and outdoor areas. We normally love cats, but this particular cat appeared to have noticeable skin problems and significant hair loss while actively seeking close contact with guests. If the cat is regularly present and welcomed on the property, we would hope that its health and wellbeing are being looked after accordingly.
