About this house rental
Downstairs
The main entrance opens into a welcoming porch, leading to a characterful wood-panelled hallway with a staircase to the first floor. The elegant ground-floor living room features traditional panelling, a cosy wood-burning stove, and a thoughtfully curated library of books and games — perfect for relaxed evenings in.
An adjacent panelled study provides a quiet retreat and leads through to the fully equipped kitchen, complete with cooker, Aga (with air fryer), and a separate utility area.
Outside
A rear entrance opens onto the mature gardens and a self-contained Artist’s Studio, along with a pantry and discreet bin store. Guests can enjoy a private patio and generous gardens to both front and rear, beautifully stocked and maintained. There is a log store, recycling area, and private parking for convenience — plus an experienced gardener on hand to ensure everything remains immaculate.
Upstairs
The first floor offers four thoughtfully styled bedrooms. The luxurious master suite includes an en-suite shower room, where you can wake to sweeping views towards Harris and North Uist. A second double bedroom features its own shower and is dressed in elegant printed wallpaper and luxury linens. There is also a cosy third double bedroom and a fourth single bedroom, along with a beautifully appointed family bathroom.
Additional amenities include a hairdryer, Scottish organic toiletries, midge spray, and many thoughtful touches throughout.
New furnishings sit harmoniously alongside carefully chosen antiques and striking contemporary artworks, creating a space that feels both timeless and comfortable.
