Our little Moselle retreat on the first floor is the perfect hideaway for anyone looking for adventure right on their doorstep. At a compact 15 square meters—comparable to a cozy hotel room—this room offers everything you need for a stylish getaway. Important Note: This unit does not have a kitchen and is designed for guests who want to fully enjoy the culinary offerings of the Old Town.
• Comfort: A high-quality box-spring bed ensures first-class sleeping comfort, complemented by elegant real wood floors and modern technology (Smart TV & Wi-Fi).
• Designer Bathroom: A modern, exclusive bathroom with a walk-in shower makes optimal use of the space.
• The Perfect Add-On: Ideal as an additional, separate bedroom when you’re traveling with friends or family staying in one of the upper city apartments.
• Prime location: You practically step right out the door into the Old Town—it doesn’t get any more central than this! In front of the house and right in Bernkastel’s Old Town-Kues, our guests have access to seating and relaxation areas

equipped kitchenette (2-burner stove, dishwasher, combination microwave).

or a glass of wine overlooking the city’s rooftops.

Little Moselle Getaway (first floor): Your stylish hideaway without a kitchen.
Perfect for purists who love the culinary scene of the Old Town right outside
their front door. Fully equipped (box-spring bed & designer bathroom)
—ideal for short trips or as a flexible add-on.
• The
add-on concept: Are you traveling with friends or family? Simply book the “Kleine
Moselbleibe” on the first floor as a separate, additional bedroom to go with one of the apartments. Experience it together, stay separately.
• In front of the house and right in the historic district of Bernkastel-Kues, our guests have access to outdoor seating and relaxation areas.
Amenities & Services for Your Getaway
• Living Ambiance:
Hardwood floors, exposed half-timbering, and exclusive bathrooms ensure a
ultra-modern sense of well-being. Free Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and a fully equipped kitchenette (2-burner stove, dishwasher, combination microwave) are standard in all
apartments (except first floor).
• Laundry service:
A washing machine and dryer are available on the first floor for shared
use.
• Bicycles
& E-bikes: You can safely park and charge your bikes in the bike storage room at Karlsbader
Platz (approx. 200 m away in the Tourist Information building).
• Dogs:
In select suites, four-legged friends are welcome by prior arrangement
. Please be sure to contact us before booking so that we
can check whether a suitable unit is available (subject to a fee).
Arrival, Parking & Guest Cards
• Since your Moselbleibe is located right in the heart of the historic city center
, you’ll be staying in a traffic-calmed zone. Direct access to the house
is available daily until 11:00 a.m. for loading and unloading. Several
public parking options are available within a short walking distance (e.g., along the banks of the Moselle), which you can reach in
just a few minutes. You can find more information about parking options here: https://www.bernkastel.de/parken
Ab Starting in May 2026, we will also have private parking spaces available near your moselbleibe. These can be booked for 10 EUR per night, subject to availability. Please let us know shortly after booking if you’d like to reserve a parking space.
Guest tax:
Unless the guest fee (1.70 per person/day) is already included in the total amount
, it must be paid in advance to Moselbleibe via bank transfer (children up to age 17
are free)
Good to know:
Our historic building has a lot of character, including a steep staircase with no elevator. Unfortunately, the apartments on the upper floors are therefore not suitable for guests with limited mobility. The “Kleine Moselbleibe” on the first floor is accessible with virtually no steps.
Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
