If you’re looking for a cosy bolthole for two in the scenic Pembrokeshire countryside, look no further than this marvellous little cottage on the outskirts of Broad Haven. Offering a romantic country retreat with traditionally appointed décor and wonderful outdoor space, this cosy cottage is situated on a quiet, utterly peaceful estate. Set off each day to explore coastal path walks, beach trips, or local town tours before heading home to curl up and get cosy with your vacation partner.
This homely cottage can be found in a traditional stone farm building, fully modernised to create an exceptionally comfortable place for you to call your own. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, complete with exposed beams that lend the place a charming country feel. Sink into a cushy sofa or armchair with the TV on after a hearty dinner prepared by yourselves. An extremely pleasant double bedroom is just down the hallway, alongside a bright and airy bathroom. Whilst the property doesn’t benefit from its own private garden, it is surrounded by seemingly endless outdoor space that’s yours to explore. Dine alfresco in the beautifully landscaped garden or enjoy morning coffee by the pond.
Despite its off-the-beaten-track location, both Broad Haven and Little Haven can be effortlessly accessed within 2 miles following waymarked routes through fields and farmland. Find beautiful beaches in both of these vibrant fishing villages. Heading away from the coast, the scenic town of Haverfordwest is 6 miles away with shops, eateries and pretty riverside walks. Make time to visit the coastal city of St David’s (15.5 miles), a small but eclectic place to visit that’s steeped in history, or venture over the Cleddau Bridge to visit the ever-popular town of Pembroke (12 miles).
