The location was great, at the private end of a winding road up a valley, amidst meadows with forest and mountains nearby, and a popular gorge in walking distance. The surroundings were restful. The house looked and felt like the original family were on vacation elsewhere and had asked us to housesit for them. It had modern amenities and creaking floorboards, and surprises like a hammock, and a sundial on a wall. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful.
Wifi reception wasn't great on the otherwise very pleasant covered patio, or in the nearby dining room. It was good nearer to the wifi access point.
