If you’re looking for a place where the world fades away and nature takes over—this is it. En La Colina is not just accommodation, it’s an experience. Tucked away beyond Diapela Beach—accessible only by walking to the end of the beach and crossing into the next bay—this place feels like a true hidden sanctuary. The journey itself builds anticipation, and when you finally arrive, it’s absolutely worth it. You stay in your own private bungalow with a direct sea view right from your bed. Waking up here feels unreal. The terrace overlooks a nearly private bay with turquoise water and a peaceful sandy beach—no neighbors, no crowds, just pure serenity. With only four units in total, even if other guests are around, it still feels like you have the entire place to yourself. What makes this place truly special is the sense of isolation in the best possible way. There’s no mobile signal, so you can genuinely disconnect and recharge. However, there is Wi-Fi available in the common open area where meals are served. Speaking of food—the breakfast is excellent, and you can بسهولة arrange lunch and dinner as well. Honestly, you don’t need to leave this boutique resort at all. Mornings are magical with stunning views over the bay while enjoying breakfast, and evenings bring breathtaking sunsets that you can watch from the terrace. The service was exceptional. I was traveling solo, and Patrick, who works there, went above and beyond—preparing all my meals, arranging snorkeling gear, and even setting up a beach bonfire in the evening. His hospitality was genuine, warm, and incredibly attentive. It was the definition of perfect service and a big reason why I decided to extend my stay. Getting there from El Nido takes about an hour—half on paved roads and half on a dirt road. I came by motorbike, but the hosts can easily arrange transport if needed. Once you reach Diapela Beach, head left toward the next bay.
