    If your travel goal is to find peace and quiet with minimal tourists and amazing food, Zhaya’s is the place to be. The place is far from town proper so expect to pay a little extra for transportation.

    We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights at Zhaya’s Beach and Cottages, and overall it was such a great experience! The service was superb, and most of the staff were very warm and accommodating. The place itself is peaceful and quiet, perfect if you’re looking to relax and unwind. Just a heads-up, there’s around a 3km rough road before reaching the accommodation, but it’s manageable and worth it once you arrive. Food was also a highlight, 10/10, everything we tried was really good! One small note, though, there was one younger staff member (no glasses) who came off a bit snobbish, but aside from that, everyone else was friendly and attentive. Overall, I’d rate our stay a solid 9/10. We had such a good time and truly enjoyed the calm atmosphere. Would definitely come back, especially once the road gets fixed!

    A simple stay away from the town, no street lights with a 15 minute pebble road. Staff are friendly.
