    Station One Resort did not meet expectations given its nearly $***per night rate after taxes and fees. While there are some positives, including attractive, newer rooms and friendly staff, the overall experience does not align with the price point. Location: Although technically on El Nido island, the resort is located nearly an hour north of El Nido town, where most restaurants, tours, and activities are based. This distance significantly limits flexibility during a stay. Transportation: The resort offers transportation via its hotel van, priced at approximately 50% higher than local transport options. Trips to and from the airport and into El Nido town cost around $80 each way, adding substantial additional expense. Booking policies: Reservations are immediately non-refundable, even when booked well in advance. Combined with the remote location and transportation costs, this reduces flexibility for guests. Staffing: Staff members are polite and well-intentioned, but appear undertrained and responsible for multiple roles, which contributes to service inconsistencies. Housekeeping: Housekeeping was inconsistent. On some days the room was not serviced at all. When cleaning was requested, surfaces were not fully wiped and sand remained on the floor. At this price level, reliable daily housekeeping would be expected. Food & dining: There are no nearby dining alternatives, requiring guests to eat on property. Food quality was below expectations for the price, and the rice repeatedly had a mildew-like smell and taste, raising quality concerns. Facilities: Facilities are basic. The beach bar consists of a simple structure with limited sanitation standards. Overall amenities do not reflect a high-end resort experience. Safety considerations: There are unmarked and poorly lit steps around the property, particularly noticeable at night. Additionally, dead branches fell from tall coconut trees onto the beach lounge area multiple times during the stay. Room conditions & response: Rooms are visually appealing and appear newly constructed. However, in Room ***, there was a persistent mild mildew odor, and hot water in the shower did not work for the entire two-night stay. A ₱2,500 consideration was offered only after compensation was requested. Rooms are described as “ocean view,” though the view is limited. Fees: An early check-in fee of ₱1,000 per hour is charged even when rooms are available. This perfectly symbolizes the way they milk you for every cent. Summary: The primary focus of this property appears to be maximizing revenue through fees, markups, and rigid policies, rather than creating a calm, well-supported guest experience. You can do much better.

    We had the pleasure of staying at Station One Resort in Duli Beach during the late July typhoon season, and what a serene experience it turned out to be. Despite being low season, the weather was a pleasant mid-80s with warm breezes, and the welcoming energy from the staff made us feel like family right away. They greeted us with a beautiful local beatitude shell necklace—a small but thoughtful touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The resort itself is a new construction, and we stayed in one of the upper-level villa rooms. It offered a peaceful view overlooking the water and the pool below. The interior design was simply gorgeous—subtle lighting accents along the curtains and walls created a calm, modern tropical vibe. The wooden furniture was tastefully crafted and added to the natural ambiance. One of our favorite features was the bathroom layout. A walk-in design with ample closet space, double vanities, and a separate enclosed toilet area. The outdoor-inspired shower with bamboo touches and soft lighting made for an unforgettable island luxury feel. The pool was long, clean, and just right for both relaxing and a bit of fun with the family. The food was enjoyable overall—good flavors, though we hope they add some fresher meat options in the future. With it being low season, the menu was a bit limited, but it was no problem. What really made meals special was the flexibility: we could dine on the beach, by the pool, on our private balcony, or in-room. We mainly chose beachside dining, and while it was beautiful, we recommend bringing bug spray or long sleeves at dusk and dawn to avoid sand bugs. Now, for fellow surfers—Duli Beach did not disappoint. During our stay, we caught waves ranging from 4–6 ft early in the trip and 2–4 ft towards the end. The resort has surfboard rentals, and there are a few local surf shops down the beach. The beach itself is quiet, great for walking, and the local surf community was incredibly kind and welcoming. The resort also helped organize day trips and transport into town, which made everything simple and stress-free. While we only stayed 4 nights, I could have easily stayed a week or more. If you’re looking to escape the crowds of El Nido town and immerse yourself in a more laid-back, nature-inspired surf vibe—Station One in Duli Beach is an amazing find. We’re a surf-loving family, and this place hit every note. Highly recommended.
