    Our stay was truly the highlight of our entire trip! From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, quiet, and incredibly relaxing — exactly what we needed to escape everyday stress. The food was absolutely amazing, the best we‘ve had in Palawan, and the hosts were simply wonderful — warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. We especially loved the unique open bathroom, which made us feel so close to nature, as well as the beautiful beach, the endless sea, and the breathtaking nights full of stars. It all felt like a dream. If you’re looking for a perfect getaway to disconnect and recharge, this is the place. We will definitely be coming back!

    We scheduled a last minute stay at Playa Encantada while visiting Duli beach. This is in July, during rainy season. The description says that you can drive to the resort in an SUV, but the path was quite treacherous, with mini canyons carved by the rains in the dirt road. We ended up parking at a neighboring resort and walking the remaining 10-15 mins on the beach because the road was so bad. Once we arrived, the beach was lovely, but we were met by about 10 dogs that were fighting each other. The rains also brought a lot of plastic and debris that were not cleaned up. Finally, we were a little disappointed with the quality of the grounds and the food. The huts were basic but comfortable, as expected, but there was a standing pond on grounds right in front of our hut that was a bit dirty and unsightly. Also, we were excited for the food due to the prior good reviews, but the food we got was quite sparse (e.g. egg, rice and a banana for breakfast with no meat or fish; no fruits accompanying dinner). The staff were delightful, as noted by prior reviews. But we were expecting more from the place itself and the food based on prior reviews.
