The communication with the host ruined our vacation. The link to provide our information didn’t work, so we had to send passport photos via WhatsApp, which isn’t allowed by Booking. We were denied check-in unless we did this. When we arrived, one bathroom was broken, and we weren’t informed. The next day, the other bathroom had issues: the toilet clogged, water leaked from two showers, and there was a sewage smell for hours. Workers took half a day to fix it, limiting our use of the space. I asked for compensation for the disrupted half-day, but it was denied. The host also made false claims via Booking messages and threatened to charge me if I didn’t check out on time.
