Location, comfort, carpets, furnishings, cleanliness, bathroom, shower/bath, bedrooms, fans, stone floor (cooler in the heat), quirky decor. Also a bonus being near Waitrose/Tesco express, restaurants, and RAVE coffee! Such a bonus for us as coffee lovers.
Not having a toilet upstairs. An uneven floor in kitchen/dining area with some sharp stone edges sticking up in places (we caught our toes a couple of times). Appreciate it’s an old cottage and it goes with the territory!
Gap at top of stairs - this was a little nerve wracking as we have a 6yr old who sometimes wakes up in the night for the toilet or wanders to our room half asleep… stair gate suggested for families?
Other than this everything was great.

The cottage itself was absolutely lovely and charming. Very good size for our family and in a great location, made it very easy to go explore the other villages and come back to reset. The decor was adorable and the included parking was such a treat! This was the third home we rented over our recent vacation and easily our favorite (even over a castle resort) such a lovely property.
The latches on most of the doors could probably use some repair or be replaced all together.

Great location. Property with good facilities. Managed well, responded swiftly to issues. Parking !
My only negative is a downstairs bathroom. Not an issue in reality unless you get up several times a night 😳

Location, parking, size of rooms, outdoor space, comfy beds, quirky decor, modern refurb., communication.
No mirrors in bedrooms, net curtain on lounge window, draughty front door.
