My boyfriend and I just returned from a 5 night stay here over the weekend of the Monaco GP. La Turbie is a cute, pituresque village steeped in Roman history with restaurants and cafés and stunning viewpoints and a 10-20 minute from drive Monaco depending on what side of the town you’re looking to go to. It’s also 20-25 mins to Nice and other surrounding beautiful towns like Cannes, Beaulieu Sur Mer, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrart etc. The owners Peter and Laty could not be more hospitable. Check in and out was easy as they came to meet us at the time we suggested and they gave us the full run down of the apartment and the area and even drove us to their other villa closer to Monaco where they said we could leave our car at any time and walk into Monaco by foot which is around 10m walk to the harbour. Peter has a keen interest in Roman history so has brought that theme into the apartment. The finish is impeccable…. Exposed stone walls and cabinets with genuine Roman artefacts, but finished with modern decor and furnishings with a contemporary kitchen that is fully kitted out with brand new utensils and equipment. There was nothing that they didn’t have there. There’s also a washing machine, tumble dryer, hoover, ironing board etc. We didn’t have to bother them at all! Such a fantastic unique find in a fabulous location! Highly recommend it - we will definitely be back! Thanks to both Peter and Laty! Our stay was perfect!
