The Georgian Garden Retreat- Private Garden Central Bath

The apartment was generally lovely.

The garden was overgrown and not as pictured. The utensils in the drawer were filthy and covered in dust from building work next door. There should have been a further reduction in price due to the building work.

Location is excellent, apartment is very comfortable and lovely, communication with the host was brilliant. Couldn’t rate this place any more. Fantastic stay.

Well located property , full equipped kitchen , garden and very comfortable rooms, like it ! if I have to back yes we will back for sure

Could be a bit more clean , basement room was coffee spilled on the wall , carpet could be cleaned

Location was exceptional and in very close proximity to the town centre and amenities and the property had a lot of charm. It was easy to get into. Very good appliances and has to potential to feel very high end given the fixes below.

Cleanliness let it down. There was lots of caked on dust/grime and around the beds and easy to reach areas(such as kitchen lights) it was just not cleaned for weeks potentially months. Shower did not spray correctly and I fixed it just by removing the limescale crust from the nozzles. Garden was not maintained, meaning it didn't feel comfortable to use. There was very little cutlery(a few forks,knives, 1 teaspoon and soup spoons), no tea towels to dry anything (we used a hand towel) and despite there being a dishwasher no tablets! No welcome pack, the duration of the stay was only 2 nights but always nice given the price we paid.
