Authentic village house

Goult was the perfect little village to stay in - we were just completely charmed with the streets and the atmosphere. Had a very local feel, not overly touristy at all, and a little Thursday morning market. The apartment itself was very nice and very clean, we liked the space and the two AC units (one upstairs one downstairs). Decor was cute. The kitchen/living room was on the downstairs level and the bedroom/bathroom was upstairs, connected by a spiral staircase. We really appreciated the washing machine as well. Nice little private terrace space outside the apartment. Parking is about a 5 minute walk away in the village square and was free and always had space (and overflow lots were available if it did fill up). There are several nice restaurants clustered by each other and that area had a nice vibe in the evening. Overall, would highly recommend this apartment and village.

There was a slight musty smell in the apartment, but that was minor and not enough to detract from my rating.

Goult is een heel mooi, rustig, karakteristiek plaatsje. De locatie is super mooi, voor mijn gevoel is echt alles super nieuw. En echt alle faciliteiten zijn aanwezig om zelf uitgebreid te koken. Zachte handdoeken, kleine maar nette badkamer, airco, wasmachine, ligstoelen om op het binnenplaatsje lekker te ontspannen. Wij vonden het in het echt nog mooier dan op de foto’s. Bij aankomst kregen wij een fles rosé die ook super lekker was. Kortom: een geslaagd verblijf.
