Maison d'exception au cœur de Goult

Everything - the communication before our stay was excellent, the property was incredibly beautiful and well appointed, it was a real highlight of our trip to stay here

Parking was tricky, but understand this is a factor of staying in a small village, and part of the charm

This property was perfect. Importantly it was clean, comfortable, quiet and practical. Only my wife and I stayed there, but it could easily accomodate a large family as it has 3 bedrooms, 4 toilets and 3 showers. We have stayed in many properties listed on booking.com, most are good and some are not so good. But this one was excellent. Also - when we paid the bed tax at the start of our 7 day stay of €77, we accidentally handed over €97 to the host. We didn’t realise our mistake at the time (we were jet lagged coming from Sydney). The first we knew of our mistake was when the host contacted us to inform us of our error. Had the host not told us of our error, we would have never known. So this just demonstrates the honesty of our host. I suspect many hosts would just pocket the €20. So this incident demonstrates the integrity of our host, and the type of people they are. We would love to return and highly recommend this accomodation.

Everything was perfect for us. However note one bedroom is up a steep flight of stairs (which was fine for us) but would not be suitable for young kids - that said, the kids could stay in one of the 2 downstairs bedrooms.

Dieses Haus ist in jeder Hinsicht ein Traum! Die Liebe zum Detail, die unglaublich schöne Einrichtung, alt trifft auf modern. Nach einem Tag in der Natur, betritt man diese schöne Oase der Stille. Es ist kühl, ansprechend und nur schwer in Worte zu fassen. Die Bilder sprechen für sich. Es gibt einen schönen Gedanken, der einmal niedergeschrieben wurde: "... die Provence ist der Ort, wo die Illusion der Realität sehr nahe kommt." Das betrifft nicht nur die Schönheit der Provence sondern auch dieses Haus. Luxus pur, geräumig, drei Zimmer und jedes mit Dusche und Waschbecken. Einfach genial. Ein Parkplatz ist vor dem Haus, ein zweiter kann, mit etwas Glück, auch gleich nebenan gefunden werden. Ansonsten gibt es einen öffentlichen Parkplatz, im Zentrum von Goult. Da war immer genug Platz für unser zweites Auto.
