Aether Suites Near Athens Airport By SEM

We needed a last-minute place to stay and booked this property. It was located in a nice neighborhood and was close to the airport by car. This was very convenient for us, as we flew into Athens late and left early the next morning.

It wasn't clear to us from the listing that we would be staying in a basement unit. It wasn't a big deal to us, but would have been nice to know. We also had a hard time entering the apartment. The code given to us did not mention that the # symbol needed to be entered before the number.

The location

We stayed on a basement and the access was confusing

The apartment was great, new and fresh and had all you need !

The location was a little out of the way of cafes, restaurants and amenities. Fortunately there was one restaurant we could go for dinner upon arrival at night.

We had a one-night stay booked to be close to the airport as we had an early flight the next morning. The apartment was modern, clean, well-appointed and spacious. We arrived in the evening and everything was going fine until the power went out in the downstairs part of the apartment, I made a call to the emergency contact who advised it would be hopefully restored within few minutes, the power was not restored by the time we left. Losing power to the downstair also meant we had no hot water for showers in the morning, (not ideal when flying back to Australia) and could not use the coffee maker as well as the fridge. I emailed the contact and was advised by email that it was the power companies' / providers fault, which didn't make sense as we had power for the upstairs portion. To date I have received no further feedback or compensation, we paid for a fully functional apartment which we did not get.

No power to the lower part of the apartment and the response from the host about that.
