The Space:
Make yourself at home at this large (3,400 sq. ft.) beach and oceanfront home that sits directly on the Gulf of Mexico! It's ideal for families and groups of friends and is complete with all the amenities needed to experience a breezy stay. You'll find bedrooms, bathrooms, and beachfront decks on both levels. The main living space of this gem of a home is on the first floor featuring a bright open layout and delightful beach and ocean views from every window. The living room has been furnished with comfort in mind and boasts three comfortable sofas in front of a fireplace and a flatscreen TV with cable and a DVD/VCR. This is a great spot to hang out with your friends and watch TV, plan your next moves, or simply relax with a good book in hand. There is a convenient wet bar under the stairs, which is perfect to show off your bartender skills and prepare delicious cocktails for your group.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials to make cooking a breeze, including an extra full-size refrigerator that can be found in the laundry room right off the kitchen. It's complete with custom cabinets, black granite countertops, and incredible amenities such as a dishwasher, coffee maker, and microwave. The elegant breakfast bar wraps around the kitchen and seats 10 people comfortably. If you'd like to have more of a formal mealtime, the glass dining table awaits with space for eight. This level also boasts an ocean and beachfront covered deck, which also offers prime access to the white sand and blue water of the Gulf of Mexico. You'll have your very own private dune walk-over with an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand.
The main bedroom is on this level too, featuring an ensuite full bathroom with a garden tub, walk-in shower, and walk-in closet. The other bedroom has a flatscreen TV and an ensuite full bathroom with a nice tub/shower combo. Additionally, you can find a half bathroom in the hallway. Upstairs, you'll find four more bedrooms (two main suites), four full bathrooms, and another covered deck with jawdropping views. Both main suites feature a flatscreen TV, ensuite full bathrooms with tub/shower combos, and shared access to a Gulf front covered deck.

Safe and nestled so closely to the beach, the Courthouse has so much potential. Two fridges to feed everyone is perfect! Space for our mini family gathering of 12 was plentiful, while our excitement gathered, it waned as we realized the home is older and noticeably so.
The interior spaces were big and open full of sunlight; however, there are no blackout curtains so no escaping the brightness. This place has so much potential but not loved. Many fixtures were broken, hanging on or just missing.
The air conditioners were clearly aging, and requesting families keep the thermostat at 74 degrees is not unreasonable; however, you should provide oscillating or box fans for each room to aid in the airflow at night since not all ceiling fans were working.
All of the patio furniture was just a giant disappointment. Many of them were either broken or the panels were falling off resulting in smashed or pinched fingers. The paint had begun to come off of all pieces also, leaving your clothes and skin covered.
In our previous rentals the homes all had some mix of beach accessories, ie tents, beach chairs, beach wagon, a basket with beach towels or some combination of those. This one had nothing, not one of those items.
This is the first time we have used Vacasa, paying luxury price for 3 nights and getting budget product was a missed opportunity reviews we have read with some of their other rentals, Vacasa uses a very low cost management approach with their properties. Paying
