This charming beachfront duplex is perfectly positioned just steps from the Gulf’s edge and features a shared, beach-facing pool—offering both surf and swim in one relaxing location. Whether you're dining on the screened porch, lounging by the pool, or watching the waves from your bedroom, Rest Area East delivers stunning views and space for up to 18 guests to unwind in comfort. A beachfront pool is the ultimate vacation amenity and this one is shared only with the other side of the duplex.
Pro tip: Bring your favorite beverages—this home includes two full-size refrigerators and a built-in bar with an icemaker.
The Space
From the moment you step inside, you’ll notice the spacious, open layout designed for gathering. The main living area features a large screen TV, sleeper sofa, and expansive windows that flood the space with natural light and offer breathtaking beach views.
Gather around the custom, oversized dining table, which seats 14, with an additional four seats at the kitchen counter. The fully equipped kitchen includes granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of room for cooking meals or prepping snacks for the beach. The adjacent bar area—with an icemaker and second fridge—is a guest favorite.

Large screened-in porch with ample seating for outdoor meals, card games, or simply soaking up the view

Perfect location - Outstanding communication with host. Spotless rental with everything we needed. Tons of space with convenient beach access. For those concerned about it being a duplex, we had neighbors 3 of the 4 days with zero issues. First time here but will NOT be the last!

We had a fabulous time in Fort Morgan. The house was so clean. When the gulf was too rough to swim, we had the pool to lounge in. We could go into town during the day and have beach and pool time in the afternoons and evenings. We love the family atmosphere in Fort Morgan area. Loved our stay at this house!

First, there was nothing in the listing that indicated this was a shared property. There are 2 sides to this home. So… you share parking. But most of all you share the pool. Disappointed to say the least. 39 people sharing a small pool. I do t think so.
Next is cleanliness. Being at the beach you would expect sand to be an issue. But not when you check in. The entire lower floor was gritty and sandy. Obviously no one cleaned under any furniture. One roll of toilet paper per bathroom, no extra. The downstairs bathroom had 1/2 a roll. One partial roll of paper towels. We have short term rentals. Imperative for comfort to have extra. Disappointed at best.
