This charming and delightful beachfront cottage offers amazing Gulf of Mexico views and a private boardwalk leading to the white sandy beach! A Sea Of Sand & Stars has an excellent Gulf Beaches location close to Island shops, restaurants, nightlife, and the St. George Island Lighthouse Museum!
The exterior of this property features a private boardwalk, an outdoor shower, and a park-style grill. A covered entryway provides access to the first floor, featuring a main bedroom with a flatscreen TV, a jetted tub, and a private deck overlooking the sea. The second main bedroom with a flatscreen TV is also on this floor. The second floor offers an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with colorful coastal decor and amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico. There is plenty of comfortable seating, a flatscreen TV, and French doors and windows opening to the covered deck. The queen sleeper sofa in the living area provides additional sleeping options for your group. There is plenty of room for your crew at mealtime at the dining table and bar/counter that separates the kitchen from the living area. This galley kitchen is equipped with everything you need for beachside feast preparation! There is a sleeping nook in the upstairs open loft with two beds and a flatscreen TV. Great location-cottage was clean but kitchen appliances were a little dated, however all were in working condition.

For the price you paid, the house and location are reasonable. HOWEVER, we saw so many cockroaches. All over the house and varying in sizes. It was so so so gross. Before booking, I’d ask for proof of an exterminator. Unfortunately, the dishwasher also leaks into the downstairs foyer when it runs. We notified Vacasa of the leak and they said they would send someone and never did. Vacasa is also REALLY hard to get in touch with. If this home had some general repairs, a routine exterminator come, and a different management company it would be a nice place to stay.
