The Hive Cottage - Ocean & Pool Access

We were in the area for high school baseball and decided to share a house for the weekend with another family. This home was absolutely PERFECT for us. We checked in very late on Friday night (super easy, showed up and punched in a code to get in the door). The house was super clean, beautifully decorated inside and out, very spacious and comfortable. Everything was exactly as pictured. My husband and I slept in the king sized bed in the downstairs bedroom. The mattress was not the most comfortable for us (we are used to a Sleep Number bed at home, so we are picky!) and as a matter of personal taste we do not like microfiber sheets. Everyone else slept very well and said their beds were comfortable. Again, this was just a matter of taste - I'm sure that others will not be as picky as us. We spent as much of Saturday as possible at the beach area directly adjacent to the house. The tide is up for most of the day, so that was only about an hour and a half. We didn't want to drive to the beach, so we spent the rest of the day at the pool. It was such a calm and relaxing trip. There were several good restaurants nearby. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Just book it, you will not regret it!

Loved the house! Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Convenient to golf courses and many restaurants. A very short walk to the beach.

We enjoyed our week stay at the "Hive." This townhome was in a beautiful neighborhood, close to the ocean. The neighborhood is nice and quiet; you can even hear the waves crash into the rocks on the beach. We traveled with 2 teenagers which both enjoyed having their own room with a bathroom in each, so they didn't have to share. The clubhouse was just a short distance from the front door. Driftwood beach is just down the road. If you wanted to, you could even walk there. The Host was very responsive, even though we never needed anything.
