Overall would recommend this property to others, but it was clear this is a new rental property and there are a few things to be worked out. Most importantly, the house is part of a duplex, which was not clearly stated in the listing. This is important to know as the pools are next to each other with a shared patio space. Additionally, the adjoining duplex was undergoing some exterior plasterwork during our stay which was rather disruptive as we paid for a beachfront property expecting to be able to listen to the ocean. The other duplex is owned by a different management company. The construction was unavoidable, but had we known the listing was part of a duplex, we would have reconsidered. We were also surprised by the lack of pool seating (1 lounger, 2 chairs, and a table for a house that sleeps 12) and no beach chairs. We ended up buying our own beach chairs and leaving them behind for future guests. The oven and ice maker were not functioning. We ended up seeing this in a previous review and asking the renters about it and they had already supplied a countertop style oven which met our needs. However, we were not made aware of these things. Otherwise, the rental company was incredibly responsive to any and all of our concerns. There were a few minor issues with lights being burnt out or a wobbly shower door that they had fixed immediately. The location on the beach was amazing and allowed for a rather private beach escape on a busy holiday weekend.

Unfortunately, our experience with this property was very disappointing. During our stay, we encountered multiple maintenance and cleanliness issues, including a leaking roof, dirty pool, broken ceiling fans, a non-functioning oven, and a broken ice maker.The lack of a working oven was especially problematic because a member of our party has celiac disease and relies on access to a functional kitchen to safely prepare gluten-free meals. This created additional stress and unexpected expenses during our vacation.While we understand that occasional maintenance issues can occur, the number of problems we encountered suggested that the property was not adequately inspected prior to our arrival.We communicated our concerns and received only a partial refund. When we requested further consideration due to the cumulative impact of these issues, we were informed that no additional discussion would take place.The location itself was great, but based on the condition of the property and the handling of our concerns, we would not stay here again or recommend this property to others.
