The Vacation Complex
This very well-maintained residential complex was completely refurbished, renovated, and modernized in the spring of 2021 and furnished with high-quality, modern furnishings.
The large terraces and balconies, facing southwest, enjoy sunshine from morning until early evening. The theme of “sun” is not only evident in the complex’s outdoor areas but is also reflected in the very bright, welcoming, high-quality, and modern furnishings. As a result, the apartments are the perfect vacation rental for guests of all ages.
The apartment complex boasts a very central location, just 300 meters from the lively town center and 500 meters from the beach. A variety of lovely restaurants, cafés, bars, and shopping options are thus within a few minutes’ walk. Despite its very central location, the apartment complex is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac in a purely residential area and, despite its central location, is very peaceful. If you’re traveling with a dog, the Aalbeek-Niederung nature reserve is just a 250-meter walk away, where you can enjoy long walks in the woods at any time. In the colder months, however, the beautiful Baltic Sea beach is perfect for long walks with your dog.
Each vacation apartment comes with a parking space. These are non-smoking vacation apartments. You’ll also find a bicycle parking area behind the building.
The Apartment
The 82-square-meter SUNSIDE Apartment #3 has 3 rooms and is ideal for 4 people. Two additional guests can sleep on a comfortable sofa bed in the living room at any time.
The apartment spans two floors and features a large terrace on the first floor as well as a separate balcony on the first floor. Thanks to its southwest-facing location, the apartment enjoys sunshine from morning until early evening. It’s ideal for a family vacation with children and a dog. When the weather is nice, the large terrace is perfect not only for sunbathing but also for a cozy breakfast with fresh rolls or a rustic barbecue (please bring your own grill) with your loved ones.
The living room, which features an open kitchen, is very bright and sunny thanks to a large window wall. The large sliding glass door in the living room leads out to the very spacious, partially covered, and private terrace.
The open kitchen, equipped with a ceramic cooktop, an oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator and freezer, a De’Longhi coffee maker, and all necessary kitchen utensils, adjoins the equally open-concept living and dining area. The living room features a high-quality pull-out sofa bed with an integrated separate mattress (suitable for long-term use, 160 cm), which can accommodate two additional guests if needed. The living room also features a large dining table and a large flat-screen TV (43 inches) with built-in Smart TV and a Hi-Fi Bluetooth system.
A very large and stylish bathroom on the first floor, featuring a semi-freestanding bathtub, a large open shower stall with a rain shower, a toilet, and a large vanity with two sinks, offers the perfect oasis of relaxation for guests. A real eye-catcher is the open-concept window overlooking the living room and the terrace. It provides a fantastic view from the bathroom and lets in plenty of light. It can be opened or closed as desired to ensure privacy in the bathroom. A second fully equipped bathroom with a shower is located on the first floor.
The two bedrooms on the first floor are furnished with high-quality Schlaraffia box-spring beds featuring a 180x200 cm sleeping surface. Each bed features two different mattresses with firmness levels 2 and 3, connected by a comfortable cold-foam topper. In addition, each bedroom is equipped with a flat-screen TV and a large closet. The larger of the two bedrooms also features its own sitting area and a balcony, which also faces the sunny side.
Special Features
The apartment includes a free parking space behind the house, which is available for your use.
There is also storage space for your bicycles behind the building.
A washing machine and dryer are available in the shared laundry room (ceiling height 1.60 m).
You can use the free Wi-Fi to browse the internet or stream content.
This is a non-smoking apartment.
From May 15 through September 15, a free, private beach chair is available for you at the beach in a very central location. You can reach it on foot in 10 minutes and can always be sure that you have access to the beach and won’t have to search for a beach chair.
The apartment is equipped with basic supplies: one roll of paper towels, two rolls of toilet paper, a small bottle of dish soap, a dish sponge, a dishcloth (not a kitchen towel), and four dishwasher tablets (provided the accommodations are equipped with a dishwasher).

The SunSide Apartments complex consists of a total of 5 different apartments, all of which are very similarly equipped. If Apartment #1 is already fully booked for your desired dates, there may still be one of the other apartments available for your travel dates. SunSide Apartment #3 is nearly identical (in size, layout, and furnishings) to SunSide Apartments #4 and #5.
