Tucked away in a quiet corner of Smith Lake (Clear Creek), this home, which features a main house and guest house, is the perfect opportunity to get away and make memories. Just 10 minutes from Jasper, the property overlooks Bankhead National Forest, with amazing water views and nearby rock caves.
The main home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, complemented by a 2-bedroom, 1-bath guest house connected by a spacious deck, perfect for extended family, a girl's weekend, or to be shared by multiple families. Together, the property comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests, with 1 king bed and 2 queen beds in the main house along with 1 queen bed and 2 sets of twin bunks in the guest house.
Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen and everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The guest house also has a ping pong and pool table. We provide kayaks, paddle board, a lily pad and floats for use during your stay. A boat slip is available for those who rent or bring a boat. Please note that there is the equivalent of two flights of stairs leading from the back yard to the floating dock.
You're just a 5-minute drive from Clear Creek Recreation Area, offering a boat ramp, hiking and biking trails, and easy access to explore even more of what Smith Lake and Bankhead National Forest have to offer.

Beautiful home with tons of space for the whole family. The guest house is perfect for older kids to have their own area. Lots to do and very well stocked. We stayed for Thanksgiving and will be back for summer vacation.

Beautiful location close to wedding venue. Plenty of room for family. It would be great as a rental with water related activities. But that was not the purpose of our trip. Lovely dock and outdoor space.

A group of 7 long-time friends gathered for an extended weekend. We relaxed, cooked, laughed, and enjoyed our time. We sat in the back deck a lot and enjoyed the view. We did venture to the water everyday, and note that the house is on a bluff with stairs leading to the floating dock. This is in the listing and all of us 40+ year olds were able to navigate the stairs with no trouble but we did take lunch and supplies down to minimize the number of times someone had to go back up to the house. Overall a great house for our crew to spread out but also enjoy each others company. .
