About this house rental

Once Upon a Tide is a nine-bedroom, eight-bath, and four-half-bath channel front home located 3.2 miles south of Garden City Pier in Inlet Harbor. This ocean view home features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with a microwave, two dishwashers, two refrigerators (one beverage), and stand-alone ice maker, as well as an elevator (access to first floor), washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Other premier features include a private movie theater with seven reclining chairs, speakers, and DVD player, wine cellar, inlet view study with fireplace, and pool table. Eleven TVs (one outdoors) and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include five king (two first floor, three second floor), four queen (two ground level, two second floor), and four twin-sized beds (third floor), plus two twin-over-twin bunk beds (second floor). The ground level bedrooms are not accessible from indoors and includes mini-splits heating and cooling. Outdoor amenities include an outdoor kitchen with a beverage refrigerator and ice maker as well as a private swimming pool with kiddie area and pool furniture, hot tub, three covered porches, half-bath with shower (hot and cold water), private floating and floating docks, private boat ramp, basketball, and tennis court. This property features panoramic views of the inlet. Inlet Harbour does not permit motorcycles, trailers, golf carts, outdoor inflatables or fireworks. No pets. No smoking. Maximum occupancy: 26

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.

Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great time. Garden city realty staff so professional and communicates every detail from check in to the time we leave. House is amazing and has everything you need. We have a big family of different ages so all the activities the house offers met everyone's need from Fishing, Movie theater, Beach, Basketball, Pickle ball, Tennis, Ping pong, Pool, Hot tub, and my favorite the nice ice machine in the garage was perfect. Again, once you arrive no need to leave has everything. Great stay would highly recommend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is amazing for large groups that want to spread out and each have their own "suite". The house does need some updating, but as I understand it, its under new ownership, so I'm sure thats coming. Would not hesitate staying here again.
