About this cabin rental
Built in 1938 and completely renovated in 2020, The Little Dipper Cabin is situated in the heart of Shaver Lake's West Village, within walking distance of the town's main services. Nestled in this prime location, the cabin offers 4 separate bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and an open floor plan in the kitchen and family room that allows for quality time spent together, gathered around the original 87 year old fireplace. Our large deck is ideal for bbqing and stargazing during your stay.
We’re nestled in the mountain side in the perfect location. You can enjoy the town and the shops and restaurants it has to offer. Or you can stay cozy at the cabin tucked away in the west village. The property around the cabin is great for kids wanting to explore and play.
Main floor:
-One queen bedroom
-Twin with trundle bedroom.
-Both of these rooms share the full bathroom located in the hallway.
Upstairs floor:
-One queen bedroom with small workspace + flat screen TV.
-One queen bedroom.
-Both of these rooms share the full size bathroom located in the hallway. As well as a small seating area located at the top of the stairs.
The main floor is an open floor-plan concept. It includes a full kitchen with gas stove/oven, dishwasher, full size fridge, large island with seating for four, and a large kitchen table with seating for up to 8. The family room has two full size couches situated around the cozy fire place and a large flat screen TV. Also tucked away in a hall closet is a full size washer and dryer.
The back deck is perfect extra space for hanging out, cooking, and dining outside. There’s patio seating for up to 8-10 people, a picnic table that seats 6-8 people, and a propane grill.
** We are NOT PET FRIENDLY. Anyone breaking house rules and brings a pet(s) will be subject to a fee of $500. **
We’re located in the heart of town. You can easily walk or ride bikes to most of the establishments in town. The lake is a quick 5 minute drive away and the ski resort only 30 minutes. During the winter months you will need chains for your vehicle, even if you have 4 wheel drive.
