Chambre Gounod

We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The location is great, right between the train station and the beach, so we could walk everywhere. Nearby, there are many restaurants and a great pizza place - Popolo, and a Carrefour for anything we needed. The Alsace-Lorraine tram stop is just a few minutes away, which takes you straight to the airport. The room is really nicely decorated and has a cozy feel. You have your own shower inside the room and a separate private toilet, so even though it's part of the owner's apartment, we had total privacy. We also appreciated the little extras: a coffee machine with capsules, beach towels, and even sunscreen, which was a nice touch. The owner was super friendly and helpful. After check-in, they sent us a bunch of great restaurant recommendations and tips for getting around. On the last day, they let us leave our bags after checkout since our flight was in the evening, and even offered us another bathroom to freshen up and take a shower before heading to the airport! Honestly, we'd definitely stay here again next time we're in Nice. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect!

Very well designed home stay apartment that’s within walking distance of the beach, the train/tran station, Nice old town, and Nice city centre. Everything is about a 10-20mins walk at most, tran/ train station was about a 5 mins walk. Marcio was a fantastic host and was very accommodating. He just leaves you to it and gave us some great recommendations for what to do in the French Riviera and for restaurants around Nice. Would recommend booking for anyone who wants accommodation that’s centrally located to everything and is planning to mostly be out exploring. Great stay!

Das Zimmer ist nicht sehr geräumig. Bei der Quadratmeterangabe dürfte der Duschbereich miteingerechnet worden sein. Ein Frühstück wird nicht angeboten. Allerdings kann man in einem Bagel-Bistro um die Ecke gut frühstücken.

A very modern property located in a convenient location where the train station, main street and beach is a 10min-20min walk away. The hosts are very accomodating and friendly and always their to help when required. They are also very responsive and help in any way they can.
