Guest House hopin

Staff was incredibly nice and helpful! Good location in Negano

Only one shower

This was the most pleasant stay I’ve had anywhere in a long time. The staff was so friendly, they had recommendations for food, drinks and attractions. I ended up going to a local bathhouse (that was tattoo friendly) on the hosts recommendation. They provided a map of the area and had drive times and walk times on it, which appreciated because tend to walk most places when traveling. It was super clean and the communal kitchen/lounge area was well used by all the guests in the morning, making it a very welcoming space. I stayed in the female bunk and the bunk beds were high enough to sit upright and very comfortable. I wish I could stay more than one night to really enjoy the space.

Check in time was a bit later than usual but they made it super easy to drop your luggage off and it gave me an opportunity to explore the area.

We loved it here - Alba-chan is a great host!

Clean, friendly, authentic

There was no sign outside the guest house so after walking from Zenkoji with luggage, we walked straight passed and crossed the railway line before realising. Only because of google maps (with limited data available) did we find Hopin. Also recommended eatery did not seem suitable but we found a good, cheap place on the far side of the road.
