The Cross Inn Gujo

Unser Aufenthalt im The Cross Inn Gujo war rundum wunderbar. Schon der Check-in mit Masa-san war außergewöhnlich herzlich und ausführlich. Er hat sich viel Zeit genommen und uns zahlreiche persönliche Tipps und Anregungen für unseren Aufenthalt in Gujo Hachiman gegeben. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns, mit wie viel Leidenschaft und Liebe zum Detail Masa-san die Unterkunft restauriert und gestaltet hat. Diese Begeisterung für das Haus und für Gujo Hachiman spürt man wirklich überall. Alles ist ausgesprochen sauber, gepflegt und mit viel Sorgfalt eingerichtet. Die Übernachtung war für uns ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis auf unserer Reise – und Gujo Hachiman selbst ist ein wunderschönes, charmantes Städtchen, das uns sehr gefallen hat. Sollten wir noch einmal nach Gujo Hachiman kommen, insbesondere zum Gujo Odori Tanzfestival, würden wir sehr gerne wieder im The Cross Inn Gujo übernachten. Very spacious and comfortable house. In a very convenient location just a few minutes walk from the river and was just one street over from the location of the Gujo Odori. Very close to the castle with a view from the window as well. Owner also picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the bus stop saving us lots of time.

The house was very hot and only two rooms have AC, but if you close the doors to those rooms they cool down nicely.
