Royal residence Zagreb

the room was really big and well decorated, especially the wall paper...and the neighborhood was quiet, but cool...good coffee, good restaurants and cafes, good ice cream...good place for a mani all around the corner... communication was good too...

it all felt a little empty....the apt building itself (i did not see another soul tbh), the neighborhood and, well, the whole city to some extent...i think the heat of august might not be the BEST time to get the most out of zagreb...

It is very nice and spacious room.

The air conditioning does not cool the room. We had both units on max for 18 hours and the room temperature never went below 26C. It was very uncomfortable to sleep in. Also the floors were very dirty. There was not visible debris but our feet and towels became black if walking on the bare floor. The bathroom door handle is loose on the inside and completely detaches, but it still works if you put it back on. Lastly, we returned to our apartment at 10pm one night and the outside gate was locked with no way to get back in. The keys we were given did not work and there was no intercom. Luckily, someone was coming out at the same time and let us in.
