Résidence Le Petit Duc

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la climatisation, surtout avec la chaleur, ainsi que la piscine qui est un vrai plus ! La maison est très bien agencée et spacieuse. Nous étions 4 adultes et 3 enfants et nous avions largement assez de place pour tout le monde. Un logement très agréable pour un séjour en famille.

I really like the swimming pool and the barbecue facilities . And the kitchen with enough space and with 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms .

The fridge is not working well .

We had the pleasure of being the first guests to enjoy Le Petit Duc! It went above and beyond our expectations both in terms of location and accommodation. The property itself was a short and relatively accessible walk to Carcassonne town centre, through some beautiful vineyards but the private pool and the outdoor amenities meant that we were more than happy to spend a few days of our stay at the villa, so we got to enjoy both the historic city and the beauty of the countryside views from the comforts of the home. Beyond that, the facilities inside the property covered every need we could think of. The washing and drying facilities were ideal for longer stays and the air conditioning worked perfectly during the 40° heatwave. There was plenty of entertainment on offer too, with international tv and fully functioning speaker system. The hosts were welcoming and extremely accommodating, going above and beyond what was expected of them to make the stay that much better. Le Petit Duc was the highlight of our holiday and made our experience the best it could be.

Despite the host giving us plenty of information about the local public transport, the buses themselves were unfortunately quite unreliable and we struggled to book taxis due the companies not accepting our English bank info. While the walk into Carcassonne was pleasant, it was a bit of an obstacle during the midday heat. That being said we would happily return with this knowledge and be sure to bring or hire a car.
