Virginie was the most amicable host and genuinely cared about us having a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The pool was quiet and relaxing and we enjoyed playing pétanque. The gîte came with all the facilities you would expect and additionally a hotplate which enabled us to cook prawns on the terrace for dinner a couple of evenings. If you want a relaxing time in the quiet with a pool and a small cafe alongside the canal within 5 minutes walk then this is the holiday for you. The city is a €20ish taxi ride away.

The kitchen was well supplied in terms of pans, baking sheets, cups, glasses and plates/bowls etc however it would have been nice if there was some salt/pepper, oil, vinegar etc. The supermarket is only a 3 minute drive (or 10 minute walk) however felt a waste buying such condiments to use a little of them (maybe what we left behind will be available to the next guests). The mosquitos are a pain so DEET is necessary. AC would have been nice as it is quite warm when trying to sleep although wine is quite somniferous :-)

Nos ha gustado mucho la ubicación, el lugar donde está ubicado es muy bonito. La casa está muy bien, amplia y con unas magníficas habitaciones. El comedor amplio y acogedor. La anfitriona, Virgine, muy atenta en todo momento. Tuvimos un problema con la luz en la casa y Virgine estuvo muy resolutiva para solucionarlo.
