The garden view of the castle was a highlight. Gorgeous. Good air conditioning. Great location on charming street.

Location was excellent, the accommodation was clean and tidy and well equipped.
No welcome pack with some milk that would have been a nice touch as it was Sunday nowhere to purchase, please note there are a few steps to access the property.

Wonderful Gite (cottage) at the foot of the imposing Carcassone battlements. Delightfully renovated with two good sized bedrooms a big lounge and very quiet courtyard garden with a view of the Chateau. Quiet area but a just a short (but steep!) walk up into the Citadel and Chateau. Several very nice restaurants nearby (Barriere Truffes L'Atelier wine bar/tapas highly recommended).
