The camping pod had a shower, similar to a camper-van arrangement, better than going to a shower block. Also a kitchen sink & fridge. The sofa bed was easy to pull out. It had underfloor heating.
The underfloor heating was not on when we arrived very wet & cold, the pod did not warm up & dry out until after we had gone to bed (4-5 hours). We did not realise there was a minimum of £36 extra if you wanted to use the wood fired hot tub when we booked. Ours was pre-lit but it had also gone out before we arrived & we had too ask for some to bring us some more kindling, after it was lit again it went out almost straight away everything was too wet & it was very windy, so that was a waste of money for us & we will have to wait for a future holiday to experience a wood fired hot tub.

The venue was lovely and quiet, it was very scenic and calming. The owner was available if needed, and when we asked for items that had not been provided were bought to us quickly. The owner started our hot tub fire two nights to ensure it was the right temperature for when we arrived too.
The cabin wasn’t the cleanest, there was insects in the shower, the curtain in the shower had mould on it. When we got there there was no towels in our cabin as well as no bedding for the sofa bed for our child. The hot tub however was quite dirty just above the water level, so we only went in it the first two days as after that it wasn’t clean at all.
When our bedding for the sofa bed was provided it was taken from another cabin, the cover came off slightly and there was mould spots on the quilt.
We didn’t use the kitchenette that is seperate from our cabin as it was left in clean from previous users, washing up in the sink, oven dirty etc. just generally off putting.
The worker who lives on sight was lovely however and got everything that we may have needed when needed however had quite a few Personal issues that she shared with us that wasn’t necessarily professional.
