Beautifully decorated property with really comfy beds. Bedrooms are spacious and well equipped. Nice kitchen and diner. Good location and plenty of off road parking. Communal outside space as well as a smaller private courtyard with picnic table. Though it’s on the main road, you really don’t notice it.
Sofas in living room are extremely small and uncomfortable. The property is part of a larger building that has been divided, and in the larger bedroom and kitchen we could hear every word of conversations from the larger rental next door. The radio in the kitchen did help mitigate this.
I also found the combination of the additional damage deposit and lists of rules and charges a little excessive and off-putting. The owners have obviously had trouble in the past, but most reasonable and decent people don’t need to be lectured in this way about how to use a rental property. It made me feel a little unwelcome and quite on edge. I understand the owners are entitled to protect their property in whatever way they wish, but the tone was not for me.
