Communication with host was absolutely terrible to the point where I thought it was a scam. There were zero reviews but I booked it anyway. The host only responded when I called VRBO to complain. At which time the host told me there where NO HIDDEN FEEs. I specifically asked about a resort fee because it is common in FL. Host said no. Surprise surprise there was a resort fee when I arrived. Dealing with the propert management company was just as frustrating as they would put me on hold or "call me back". Property management company told me the resort fee was out of their control, resort told me the host has the option to pay it for the guest. So it was a lie, again I specifically asked about a fee and host said no.
