Owners of this family home for over a century, we have completely redesigned and renovated La Fontanelle with care to offer you a comfortable and authentic stay.
Once a winemaker's house nestled on the heights, the cottage boasts exceptional views over the Marcillac valley and vineyards.
Ideally located, La Fontanelle is the perfect starting point to discover the treasures of Aveyron: cultural, culinary, sports or outdoor activities, with hiking trails accessible directly from the cottage. Nearby, you can visit Rodez and the Soulages Museum, Conques on the Camino de Santiago, Salles-la-Source and its famous waterfall, Marcillac-Vallon and its wine, Lake Pareloup, as well as remarkable natural sites like the Tarn Gorges or Montpellier-le-Vieux.
The cottage includes:
On the ground floor: a living room with kitchen and separate WC, featuring a sofa, flat-screen TV, round table with chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, extractor hood, oven/microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, etc.).
Upstairs: a spacious, bright bedroom with double aspect, king-size bed, coffee table, vintage armchair, chest of drawers, and clothes rack. En-suite shower room: washbasin with illuminated mirror, vanity unit, shower cabin with sliding doors, and towel rack. The bedroom has air conditioning.
Outside: a large terrace with table and chairs, parasol, and two deckchairs, offering an open view of the Marcillac valley.
Practical information: non-smoking property. Bed linen and towels included. Cleaning is the guests’ responsibility or available for an extra fee.
