Our vacation home is designed from the ground up to be family- and child-friendly: Numerous play options inside and outside the house, as well as a large yard for running around, playing, and relaxing, ensure that the little ones feel right at home—and that parents can relax and enjoy their Eifel vacation with their children. Because we know from our own experience:, When the kids are happy, that’s when the vacation really begins for the parents, too.
The vacation rental is located on the first floor of a detached house, was freshly renovated in October 2025, and offers a magnificent view of the countryside from the living and dining area. The house is available for guests’ exclusive use. Only the basement rooms are not included in the rental and are therefore locked. Uedelhoven is a quiet neighborhood of Blankenheim with a restaurant, a playground within walking distance, and many hiking trails. It offers the ideal starting point for your family vacation in the Eifel.

Familiennest-Eifel Vacation Rental:

The Familiennest-Eifel is a detached vacation home with a large adjoining garden that offers plenty of space to play and run around. The garden features a trampoline, a swing, a soccer goal, and a sandpit.
The vacation home is available for the exclusive use of the guests. The basement rooms are not included in the rental and are therefore locked. The entrance to the vacation home is located in the garden, and a driveway leads directly to the front door.
Upon entering the house, you first arrive in the dining room, which opens onto an open-concept living area. This area is especially family-friendly: It features numerous toys, a play kitchen, art supplies, a play table, books, and much more.
From the dining room, you enter the large kitchen, which offers plenty of space for cooking together. Amenities include an oven, a dishwasher, a chest freezer, and a drip coffee maker. Adjacent to the kitchen is a storage room that houses a vacuum cleaner, a broom, and a dustpan.
A small hallway also leads from the dining room to three additional rooms. The large bathroom features a walk-in shower, a toilet seat riser, and a stool for the little ones.
The bedroom has a double bed measuring 1.80 m × 2.00 m, a wardrobe, and a changing table. Upon request, a travel crib or a rollaway bed can be provided free of charge.
The children’s room is equipped with a loft bed. The upper sleeping area measures 0.90 m × 2.00 m, and the lower one measures 1.40 m × 2.00 m. This means there is room for two to three children. Additional toys are also available in the children’s room.
Bedding and towels are provided free of charge for all guests.
The room rate already includes all fees, including cleaning, lodging tax, and sales tax.



On-site costs: The nightly rate includes all fees (cleaning, lodging tax, and sales tax). There are no additional mandatory costs. The price applies to all guests. Bed linens and towels are provided free of charge in the vacation home. In addition to the standard furnishings, we offer additional free accessories for children: a rollaway bed, a crib, a high chair, a bottle warmer, an additional safety rail, a baby bathtub, a back carrier (Kraxe), stroller, Dreirad.In. The property features many toys both inside the house and in the adjacent garden (kids’ kitchen, trampoline, sandpit, swing...).Information about the amenities can also be found on our website (www.familiennest-eifel.de).



Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and check-out is from 12:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
