Visitor’s tax/overnight tax of the Hanseatic City of Wismar (5%):
The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/lodging tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight tax is not based on the number of people, guests of the Hanseatic City of Wismar will not be issued a visitor’s card.

Features of our “Sweet Home”:
Our wonderful new vacation apartment, “Sweet Home Wismar,” for 2 adults and 2 children is located on the 2nd floor of a quiet apartment building. It has been thoughtfully furnished with an eye for detail. The room colors were deliberately chosen to be light and inviting. Combined with the unique, exclusive furnishings, this immediately creates a pleasant, cozy atmosphere.
The centerpiece of our apartment is the spacious living room with a comfortable sofa arrangement, a large flat-screen TV, a cozy dining area for 4 people (2 adults + 2 children), and a modern open kitchen.
The sofa can be converted into a sleeper sofa if needed, offering two additional guests a restful night’s sleep.
The exclusive kitchen is fully equipped, including an induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, dishes, glasses, and silverware. All appliances are from well-known manufacturers.
From the living room, you can access the master bedroom, which is furnished with a large, comfortable double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and a wardrobe.
Of course, there’s also a stylish bathroom with a shower (including an additional rain showerhead), toilet, mirror, sink, and vanity with plenty of storage space. The amenities naturally also include a washer with a dryer function, so you won’t run out of clean clothes during longer stays.
As a little highlight, there’s an additional sleeping loft above the living room, accessible via a pull-out, DIN-compliant wooden staircase. Here you’ll find two cozy mattresses—the perfect place for little adventurers to sleep and unwind after an exciting and eventful day.
The vacation rental has heated floors.
We also offer free Wi-Fi throughout your entire vacation.
Your car will be safely parked in our private parking space right next to the house. If you bring your own bicycle or e-bike, you can park it safely in our carport.
Please note that smoking in the vacation rental is not permitted, nor are pets allowed!
Location of our vacation rental:
Wismar’s historic old town with its sights is within easy walking distance—about 15 minutes. Here you can stroll around, treat yourself to a meal at one of the street cafés, or visit the many unique churches and the historic market square with its water features. On a guided tour of the old town, you’ll learn many interesting facts about the history of this Hanseatic city.
Shopping options are located about 500 meters away. The train station and central bus station (ZOB) are about a 10-minute walk away.
The picturesque island of Poel and the Baltic Sea resort of Boltenhagen, with its exceptional beaches, are easily accessible by car or—for the active traveler—by bike thanks to the well-developed network of bike paths (the Baltic Sea Cycle Route).
If the weather is bad, we recommend a wellness day with a visit to the sauna and a pampering treatment, or a fun day at the local Wonnemar Wismar swimming pool.
On balmy summer evenings, take a stroll through the old harbor with its small fishing boats and maritime charm. Many small restaurants, bars, and cafés near the harbor invite you to linger and enjoy yourself.
