This beautifully renovated two bedroom, dog friendly, apartment is truly
exceptional with its amazing layout. The open concept kitchen/living area
comes with a pullout sofa and private deck right off the kitchen! The spiral
staircase leads you downstairs to the ground level bedrooms (with natural
light.) Each bedroom boasts a queen size bed, and there is a spacious bathroom
with a glass walk in shower.
10 Fair Street is a four unit building located right off Historic Thames
Street. Unit Four is located on the first and ground floor. This unit is truly
one of a kind. As you walk in through the rear of the building, you enter on
your private deck into a large great room. The living area boasts a TV, chair
and a pull out sofa, and opens directly into the fully stocked kitchen, and
dining room table which can seat six. There is a half bath on this floor as
well.
Down the spiral staircase you enter into another large living room with two
lounge chairs and a loveseat. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds, and
a large bathroom with a glass walk in shower. There is off street parking for
one car, but another spot is available depending on occupancy. Please request
in advance if needed.
All of Windwards properties are professionally cleaned between guests and come
outfitted in high end linens and towels.
Aside from the cleanliness of the space, it is in one of the most sought after
locations in Newport. You are steps away from Thames Street, Bannisters &
Bowens Wharf, and endless restaurants, bars, and shopping.
Windward Suites properties are all keyless, and instead use keypad smart locks
for all of the doors for both the buildings and units. All guests will get an
email the day of their stay with the codes to the doors.
Check-in time is anytime after 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Please
be respectful of these times unless you have contacted us, as we have a
cleaning crew who need the time to do a thorough job before and after all of
our guests.
There are four off street parking spots with one spot designated per unit. The
onsite parking makes it easy for you to park your car and spend most of your
time on foot with everything just outside your door.
Ultra-walkable downtown Newport RI—no car needed! Thames Street hotspots,
restaurants, shops, wharfs, and attractions are 2-5 minutes on foot. Off-
street parking included (your designated spot; extra possible on request).
Uber/Lyft/taxis everywhere; bike rentals close for easy rides. RIPTA buses
nearby for bigger outings; trolley tours for chill exploring. Nearest Amtrak
in Kingston, RI (~20 min drive); T.F. Green Airport (PVD) ~30-40 min. You're
primed for beaches, mansions, events—total freedom to enjoy!
