The changing moods over the water, the spectacular sunsets, and the view of boats coming and going help you unwind and invite you to pause and reflect. You can watch the rain showers in the distance and feel the wind blowing through the open spaces. Here, you experience nature up close.
The house was designed with a clear focus on the views of the Greifswald Bodden, the Having, the Seedorfer Harbor, the Granitz Hunting Lodge, the church in Preetz, and the Reddewitz Peninsula. The architectural design follows these unique views to offer you a new perspective from every point in the house.
The wooden structure, inspired by the tradition of transforming old boats into dwellings by turning them upside down, integrates the living spaces directly into the surrounding landscape. The first floor seamlessly transitions into the garden, separated only by large, corner-spanning sliding doors that allow the interior to blend with nature. The traditional thatched roof and the green roof surfaces blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings, while the materials used—such as wood, glass, concrete, and copper—exude timeless elegance.
