About this house rental
We completely renovated our cozy vacation home ourselves in 2025, paying close attention to every detail. Our vision was to blend the rustic, natural charm of wood with the clean, serene aesthetic of modern interior design throughout the space. The result is a place that radiates warmth while also providing space to breathe.
The vacation home features two cozy bedrooms that can accommodate up to four people. In addition, the pull-out couch in the living area offers two more sleeping spots. It also serves as the centerpiece of the open-concept living space, which features amenities such as an ethanol fireplace, TV, Bluetooth speaker, and a spacious dining area.
The open, well-equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. Amenities include a ceramic cooktop, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. Practical kitchen gadgets such as a hand blender and a milk frother are also available.
Whether young or old, seeking relaxation or an active vacation—there’s a place for everyone here. The covered patio offers plenty of seating and sun loungers, and a handcart provided by the house is available for use. Inside, a well-stocked game cabinet and a bookshelf invite you to linger. For the little ones, helpful amenities such as a high chair, toilet seat adapter, and crib are available.
In designing the space, we made a conscious effort not to overwhelm the senses. The decor is meant to convey a sense of calm while creating a homey yet special atmosphere.
Pets are also welcome here, so the whole family can relax together.
The vacation village itself offers a playground and sports field, as well as a modern wellness center with two saunas available for free use. Various hiking trails begin just a few minutes’ walk away, and in the other direction, an idyllic forest lake invites you to cool off. The entire complex is car-free, ensuring plenty of peace and quiet and allowing children to play freely. Parking spaces and two electric vehicle charging stations are located in the immediate vicinity.
The vacation home’s location is ideal for all kinds of activities. The Brocken, as well as numerous hiking, jogging, and mountain biking trails, are waiting to be explored. Adventure seekers will also find plenty to enjoy, such as tobogganing or bungee jumping in the surrounding area. Those interested in culture can explore the historic surroundings of the vacation village and regional attractions.
Important amenities such as a doctor’s office, bank, supermarket, and ATMs are nearby and contribute to a carefree stay. A mobile bakery offers fresh rolls and other bakery items on the premises every morning between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m.
