About this house rental
The Green Eilun residential complex, with its inviting semi-detached homes, is located on Strandstraße in Wyk. Each one is uniquely and tastefully furnished. A small playground is sure to delight our youngest guests, and dogs are also welcome in these homes.
We’d be delighted to host you in our half of the Green Eilun 8 home at Strandstraße 8 in Wyk on Föhr. Spanning approximately 75 square meters, we offer you a bright and cheerfully designed half-house spread over 4 floors. An easily accessible spiral staircase leads to all rooms. The entire house is carpet-free, and the living area as well as the bathrooms feature underfloor heating.
From the entryway, you’ll enter the open, well-equipped kitchen, which features a ceramic-glass cooktop with oven, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a microwave, and everything else you’ll need. Adjacent to this is the living and dining area, which has been designed to be cozy and inviting. You can even enjoy breakfast by the south-facing window overlooking the terrace. The swivel TV with Bluetooth and a special soundbar is sure to please guests of all ages. Tasteful paintings and etchings from the North Frisian region add a special touch to the whole space.
From the living room, you have direct access to the beautiful south-facing terrace, which promises relaxing moments in the summer after an eventful day of vacation. Upstairs, you’ll find the spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and a window, as well as a bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a wardrobe. Children especially love the two single beds (90 x 200 cm) in the cozy attic, which are placed side by side and, thanks to safety rails, give parents peace of mind. The lower level features the third bedroom with a double box-spring bed (180 x 200 cm), a closet, and an additional TV, as well as a small shower room and the utility room. The washer and dryer are available for your use free of charge.
Quietly located on the outskirts of Wyk, the beautiful South Beach is only about 1 kilometer away and is ideal for sunbathing and swimming in the summer. The bakery is also within walking distance. Directly behind the house is a wooded area perfect for walking, and through the woods you can reach the well-run Stella de Mare restaurant, just about 400 meters away.
Children will enjoy the shared play area with a climbing frame, swing, and sandbox, and can explore two additional playgrounds in the immediate vicinity or take a walk through the woods to the Löwenhöhle adventure playground. Strandstraße is a great starting point for exploring the island’s villages by car or bike, which offer plenty to see and do—from the farm shop in Alkerum to the popular Café Stellys Hüs in Oldsum and Lembecksburg Castle in Borgsum. The West Coast Museum in Alkersum comes highly recommended. And Wyk’s downtown area is perfect for a leisurely stroll. One parking space per apartment and bike racks are located right outside the door.
