Duckling Den is a single-storey holiday home comprising a kitchen with a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge, and air fryer, a dining area for eight guests, and a sitting area with a TV, electric fire, and pull-out bed. The bedrooms consist of a double and two twins, serviced by a shower room. Outside, there is allocated parking for one car, with additional parking available by arrangement. On-site facilities include bars, restaurants, a water park, fishing lakes, exercise classes, an outdoor splash pool, an indoor pool with a slide, a beauty salon, a mini market, sports courts, an adventure park, marina, and outdoor cinema. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. You'll find a shop and pub in 0.1 mile. Fuel and power, and bed linen are all included in the price. Duckling Den is a spacious base for a family escape to Northamptonshire. Note: Highchair and travel cot available at a charge of 15GBP per week. Note: Babies must be included in total number of guests. Note: Group bookings may be subject to restrictions. Note: The pull-out bed sleeps an extra two guests. Note: Towels are not included. Note: The caravan décor may differ slightly to the one photographed, however all advertised facilities will be provided.



The Neighborhood:

Northampton is a large market town resting within the East Midlands in the county of Northamptonshire and lying on the River Nene. Its history dates back to the Bronze Age, with the town growing during the industrial revolution and the arrival of the Grand Union Canal, allowing it to become a centre for footwear and leather manufacture. Nowadays, Northampton is home to a university, several parks and gardens, and some unique architecture, along with plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants and attractions. Delight in a trip to Brixworth Country Park which caters to a wide range of ages with cycling and walking trails to explore, along with picnic spots and a lake. Treat yourself to some retail therapy in Northampton's Grosvenor Centre with a multitude of shops to browse. Visit the only house in England designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, with fans of the modern architect able to wander through this restored house, originally built in 1815, learning the history of Mackintosh. The former monastery Delapré Abbey dates back to the 12th century and is certainly a stop for any history enthusiasts, while Northampton's oldest park, Abington Park is another lovely setting for an afternoon stroll. Visit the exciting Billing Aquadrome leisure park for fun for all ages, with a caravan site, marina, funfair, bar and restaurant, it's perfect for a fun-filled day out.
