STAY REQUIREMENTS
During Prime Season, Spring Break and Holidays, Hidden Garden typically rents weekend to weekend with 7-night stays.
During non-prime periods, shorter stays and alternate check-in/check-out days may be available. Please send an INQUIRY before submitting a booking request if you are interested in different dates or a shorter stay.
Check-In: 4:00 PM or later
Check-Out: By 9:00 AM
Because we frequently have same-day guest turnovers, please do not schedule an earlier arrival ferry or later departure ferry unless an early check-in or late check-out has been approved in advance.
Travel insurance is always recommended.

COMPLIMENTARY 6-PERSON GOLF CART
There are no cars on North Captiva Island. Transportation around the island is by foot, bicycle or golf cart — part of the charm of island life.
Hidden Garden includes one complimentary 6-person golf cart with your vacation rental.
The cart is provided as a complimentary amenity. While we expect it to be in working order, compensation or a replacement golf cart is not provided if the cart requires repair or becomes inoperable during your stay.
Additional golf carts may be rented through Boats and Fun on North Captiva Island.
FANTASTIC ISLAND LOCATION
Hidden Garden enjoys a wonderful North Captiva location close to the Gulf beaches and just a very short walk from the Island Club at North Captiva area, marina, Mangos and Boats and Fun.
Please note that Island Club at North Captiva guest amenities are NOT included with this private pool home rental.
DOG FRIENDLY
Hidden Garden welcomes up to two approved dogs with a paid pet fee.
Dogs must be house-trained, current on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention, leashed when appropriate, picked up after and kept off the furniture.
Please inquire regarding pet approval and applicable fees when booking.
ABOUT NORTH CAPTIVA ISLAND
North Captiva is an unspoiled remote barrier island located off Southwest Florida in the Gulf of Mexico.
Approximately two-thirds of the island is State Preserve, offering beautiful natural areas and walking trails leading toward the Gulf.
North Captiva is known for incredible beaches, wildlife, tropical vegetation, world-class shelling, fishing and water activities. Watch for dolphins, manatees, gopher tortoises and an abundance of native wildlife.
There are restaurants and bars on the island along with Mangos convenience store, Boats and Fun, and additional shopping and services.
Island services may include boat rentals, fishing charters, golf-cart and fat-tire bike rentals, kayaks, fresh seafood delivery, private chefs, prepared meals, massage services, photography and excursions to Cayo Costa, Boca Grande and Cabbage Key.
Please remember that there is no traditional full-size grocery store on North Captiva, so grocery planning before arrival is important.
GETTING TO NORTH CAPTIVA
North Captiva is accessible only by boat or private plane. It is not connected to the mainland and there are no cars on the island.
Most guests flying into Southwest Florida arrive at RSW – Southwest Florida International Airport and then travel to Safe Harbor Pineland Marina on Pine Island.
Guests may reach North Captiva by scheduled ferry, private water taxi/charter or their own boat.
For guests using Island Girl Charters, the ferry ride is approximately 30 minutes. Hidden Garden guests commonly arrive at the dock near Mainstay/Barnacles.
The round-trip adult ferry fare is approximately $59.00 plus tax per adult.
Paid overnight car parking at Safe Harbor Pineland Marina is approximately $12.00 per night.
Ferry transportation and marina parking are paid separately by guests and are not included in the Hidden Garden rental rate.
Ferry schedules, availability and pricing can change, so please confirm current information before booking flights and finalizing travel arrangements. During busy periods, ferry times can fill quickly.
Upon arrival on North Captiva, our on-island concierge will meet you at the dock and assist with transporting you, your luggage and groceries to Hidden Garden.
GROCERIES & ISLAND CONCIERGE
Grocery options include:
• Bring groceries with you on the ferry

• Have groceries purchased and stocked in Hidden Garden before arrival

One 6-person golf cart IS included complimentary with your Hidden Garden rental.
All guests must complete and return the homeowner’s Vacation Rental Agreement at least 24 hours prior to their stay in accordance with the house rules.

In accordance with disclosure requirements, an exterior security camera is located outside the property facing the front entrance.
