House in State of Quintana Roo
Reasons to book
About this house rental
It’s one block from the boulevard, a few meters from the historic center, government offices, restaurants, and an Oxxo.
The house features a collection of bonsai, orchids, fish, and some fruit trees.
The host is very kind and friendly, yet very discreet and respectful. He’ll make you feel right at home.
The space
Since it’s an old wooden house, it’s cool at night and somewhat warm around lunchtime. But there is air conditioning.
The house has a large bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen area, and a dining room, as well as a large living/dining room and two outdoor porches with chairs where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Guest access
The house has the basics and essentials for a comfortable stay, but without luxuries. It’s a rustic house that offers you a vintage experience in the capital city; there is also a bike and a motorcycle to explore the boulevard and visit Calderas and Oxtancah.
Other things to note
During the rainy and hurricane seasons, we may have to apologize and decline bookings. But November through March are the ideal months to enjoy this unique experience at Casa Bonsai. Everything is simple, but the host is very friendly and helpful.
