- One small dog (20 lbs or less) per reservation for an additional dog fee (but you must notify us of your dog in advance of your stay and no puppies!). Once you enter your code within the electronic door lock on the door from the garage into the house, you will enter the home's first floor, which features the kitchen, dining room, living room, den, primary suite, king bedroom, laundry room and queen & bunk room. Walk up a flight of stairs to find the king suite.
NO SMOKING. Tenant must be 25 years old. Reservations made for younger individuals will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the home at ALL times. NO PARTIES, EVENTS, PERFORMING ARTISTS OR BANDS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. You may not exceed the maximum occupancy at any time — day or night. These are causes for eviction with no refund, and may damage our ability to offer the home for future guests exposing you to liability. Please be respectful of our neighbors.
Pool is serviced weekly by a pool service company. It is not serviced on every arrival day. Storms and prior guests may mean it is not in pristine condition.

We had a fabulous stay at this property! It was perfect for a party of 7 and could have accommodated more comfortably.
It was stocked with everything we needed. The pool and hot tub/outdoor area was our favorite. Comfortable outdoor seating and perfect for dinners and lunches.
The house was very roomy and beds so comfortable.
Itrip representatives we very quick reply with any questions I had.
We will definitely use this property for future visits to Hilton Head.

Blue Mermaid has a gorgeous coastal vibe-comfy and stylish furnishings, art that has "local color" reflecting the island culture and a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Large dining room table, more casual kitchen area table and deck table for outside dining. Bathrooms are updated and very nice. The space was great for six adults (could definitely accommodate 8 adults ) and there are also kid/teen friendly sleeping spaces. There is however even more to the property that we enjoyed. The landscaping is just exquisite-including bird houses and feeders to attract visitors. There is a very cool internal courtyard with a fire table for chilly evenings and the back yard is just amazing. Private two level deck, a pool and hot tub/spa. Twinkle lights make an evening swim or star gazing from the hot tub very inviting.
The home was immaculate when we arrived-sheets, blankets, towels were lovely. Plenty of TV's for watching -it was a big sports week. We hope to return-thanks to our hosts for making such a great spot available!

What a fantastic way to to get an early start on spring and the golf season. We were a group of six adults from the Midwest who spent nearly a week in mid March 2026 at Blue Mermaid in Sea Pines. Four golfers and two non golfers. Proximity to too many golf courses to count as well as great and convenient shopping, restaurants and more. Easy walking and biking trails with access to nature preserve areas, great views of the stables and close to the wonderful long beaches.
