About this house rental
This two-story holiday home is tastefully furnished, offering a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Bright, high-ceilinged rooms, carefully selected furniture, and charming decorative details create a harmonious blend of tradition and modern comfort. Several covered terraces invite you to relax and unwind, offering stunning views of the sea, the surrounding landscape, and the impressive Parnon Mountains.
The spacious ground floor living area is divided into two sections by a central staircase: a cozy lounge with a fireplace and a dining area with an open-plan, fully equipped kitchen. From the living room, you have direct access to the sea-facing terrace, while the dining area and kitchen open onto a mountain-view terrace – both covered and ideal for al fresco dining or quiet moments in the shade. A guest WC is also located on the ground floor.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms that share a modern bathroom. The master bedroom opens onto a private, covered terrace – a perfect retreat for reading, relaxing, and enjoying breathtaking views across the sea to the islands of Spetses and Spetsopoula, as well as the southern coast of Argolis.
The second bedroom features two single beds and a raised sleeping loft with a double mattress (1.60 m wide, loft height approx. 1.70 m), making it suitable for two children or teenagers – or up to four people in total. This room also opens onto its own private terrace, with views over the village, the surrounding landscape, and the Parnon Mountains.
A footpath leads from the property through an olive grove to the long, natural beach of Poulithra (approx. 250 m), where you’ll find two seaside tavernas and cafés – perfect for swimming, dining, and relaxing.
The surrounding area is a paradise for walkers and nature lovers. A network of historic paths and old cobbled trails (kalderimia) leads to hidden coves, chapels, sea caves, and green gorges. Scenic hiking routes wind through the Parnon Mountains to traditional mountain villages at 600 m altitude, offering panoramic views over the Myrtoan Sea and as far as the islands of Spetses and Hydra.
The nearby town of Leonidio enchants with its narrow streets, traditional architecture, and a relaxed atmosphere. The pedestrian-friendly old town invites you to stroll, shop, and enjoy local cuisine in the many tavernas and cafés. The coastline north and south of Poulithra offers a variety of beaches – from lively stretches with beach bars to quiet, unspoiled spots – something for everyone.
