About this house rental
Between orange plantations, olive groves and vegetable gardens, idyllic country house located by the sea. What awaits the visitor here is peace, tranquility, original atmosphere and the beautiful blue sea right outside the front door.
A peaceful landscape surrounds the vacation house Lakkos. In front of the terrace lies the rushing sea and in the background rises the ridge of the Parnon mountains. The adjacent riverbed separates the vacation house from the small port of Plaka. At the foot of the Parnon rises the picturesque town of Leonidion with its beautiful, traditionally built houses and charming alleys. Worth mentioning are the traditional Easter festival with hot air balloons and the climbing rocks at Leonidion, a paradise for climbing enthusiasts with routes of all levels.
Built in the traditional style of stone houses of the Arcadia region, the vacation house Lakkos radiates a cozy atmosphere. The cottage consists of the main house and a small annex. It is an ideal accommodation for large families and friendly couples with children.
This two-storey, functionally furnished holiday home, modelled on traditional farmhouses, was renovated in 2012. This neat country house exudes a cozy, rustic atmosphere and offers what the heart desires for a casual dream vacation by the sea. The terrace of the house borders directly on the sea.
On the ground floor of the cottage is the spacious living room, 2 steps down is the open kitchenette and bathroom. In front of the house there is a terrace, partly covered by a pergola, which provides the shade you need to spend unforgettable hours by the sea.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. 2 bedrooms have a direct exit to the front covered terrace with a wide sea view all the way to the island of Spetses. A daybed on this terrace invites you to spend cozy hours. A rear balcony, from the third bedroom, has a view of the countryside and the mountains.
In the adjoining house there is 1 bedroom with 1 bathroom, separated by a curtain. The annex house is available for an occupancy of 7 persons or more.

ATTENTION: Unfortunately, the garden wall was washed out by the sea in summer/autumn 2024, so that at the moment the front part of the terrace is not accessible and therefore closed off (see pictures). However, access to the sea is possible via the neighboring property (see pictures). The rent is therefore reduced.
ATTENTION: driveway is not suitable for motorhomes, it is too narrow and there is no turning possibility for large vehicles.

Als 3-Generationen-Großfamilie haben wir 14 wundervolle Tage im rundum gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus Lakkos verbracht.
Wir wurden überaus herzlich von dem Verwalter-Ehepaar empfangen, während unseres Aufenthaltes regelmäßig mit frischen Auberginen und Eiern und von ihrer typisch griechischen Freundlichkeit verwöhnt.
Die direkte Lage am Meer ohne großartige Nachbarschaft ist einzigartig, die Sonnenaufgänge atemberaubend, beim Schwimmen im türkisfarbenen glasklaren Wasser schweift der Blick über das im Rücken aufragende Parnon-Gebirge, die roten Felsen im Hintergrund, die sich majestätisch als Kulisse erheben.
Im nur wenige Minuten entfernten Leonidio findet man in den Supermärkten und kleineren Läden alles, was man zum Leben braucht. Ganz besonders gut gefallen hat uns der wöchentliche Markt (immer Montag vormittags), auf dem Obst und Gemüse, fangfrischer Fisch sowie regionale Spezialitäten wie Olivenöl, Honig und Gewürze angeboten werden.
Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit und das stundenlange Badevergnügen sorgten sowohl bei unseren Kindern im Alter von 4 bis 16 Jahren als auch bei uns Eltern und der über 80jährigen Oma für absolute Entspannung und Erholung.
Klimaanlagen in allen Räumen ermöglichen auch in warmen Nächten angenehmes Schlafen und Moskitonetze an Fenstern und Türen schützen vor den unliebsamen Plagegeistern.
All denjenigen, die einen individuellen Urlaub in ursprünglicher griechischer Region suchen, fernab des Massentourismus, sei Lakkos wärmstens empfohlen!
Wir sind mit Wehmut abgereist und würden gerne wiederkommen!
