Quiet and the View

The location and pool were exceptional. Lorenzo greeted us when we arrived and came to clean the pool and water the garden regularly.

A couple of small things would make such a difference. For instance a bin in the bathroom and some hooks on the backs of the doors. There is very little space to store clothes. As a couple it was fine as we could lay out clothes on the bunk beds in the other room.

Wifi could have been better, a few extras around the place ie clothes hooks in the bathroom, hooks to hold the windows open, etc.

Lorenzo met us as the villa and showed us around his beautiful property The villa is lovely, rural/rustic feel and in a location that's soo quiet yet close to local town for meals out and the beach. It's so quiet in the day you forget that you are in a fairly large resort town. Villa is up on the headland so you get a massive sea view and are not overlooked as such but can see over the other villas in the area if you go for a wander around the pool - not a bad thing at all as the view is exceptional with the lighthouse in the distance Nice sized double room with another large room with 2 bunk beds provides plenty of sleeping space. Nice bathroom with a shower with decent power. Smaller living room and kitchen area, however there are 4 table areas around the villa, so if you want to sit in the sun or shade you have options. The outside area is superb, garden is huge and the pool is large too for the size of the villa and lovely and warm at end of June. BBQ area in the outbuilding section is brilliant, also has a pizza oven which isn't in the photos - didn't get chance to use it but the BBQ area is really good and vented so your not smothered in smoke. There's also another BBQ area at the front of the house too. Nice area with washing machine and shower with area for hanging clothes. Kitchen is well stocked and has plenty of glasses and plates etc - also almost every utensil possible and some proper sharp knives too Such a great time here, 10 nights in total and didn't want to leave! Sitting out by the pool in the morning and being able to be in the pool and watch the boats sailing past is amazing There are mosquitos in the evening - however you get these all over the island so make sure you get some insect spray - this is not a bad comment on the villa as we had them when in the town too Lorenzo is a really nice guy too, came by 3 times in our stay to clean the pool and water the plants Keep an eye out for the tortoises as well :)

Villa is perfect! wouldn't change anything with it at all - has the right feel for a nice escape The roads around Menorca in the rural areas are renowned for being heavy gravel - the road upto the villa is tarmac right until you get to the side of the villa where it gets a little rocky and rutted - just drive slow and its all good. We had a Fiat 500 and it managed it perfectly fine
